CLAY FROM CIVIL WORKS IN IZMIR
In 2018-2020, only 7% of the clay used by the Izmir plant in Turkey was extracted from the quarry, while the remaining 93% was made of recycled clay from civil works carried out in the province of Izmir.
This recycling of excavated materials offers significant benefits for the area and positive economic contributions for the public institution, as it helps to eliminate or reduce the use of such materials that normally have to be transported over long distances and unloaded at backfill sites.
