Data Ethics Policy

In Aalborg Portland Holding A/S and its Danish subsidiaries we work actively with GDPR and data ethics.

Data ethics encompass ethical considerations on responsible use of data and new technologies. The concept of data ethics comprises the use of all types of data and is therefore not limited to the use of personal data.

Danish regulation requires that all large and listed companies shall give an account of their data ethics policy in their annual report. The purpose of the requirement is to create transparency and focus on companies' work with data ethics.

In Aalborg Portland Holding A/S and its Danish subsidiaries we have drawn up a policy on data ethics that describes our internal guidelines for using and handling data. The policy applies both in Aalborg Portland Holding A/S and in its Danish subsidiaries where we have a controlling interest. The policy thus comprises the entire group and is binding on all employees.

Our data ethics policy describes how we collect, process, use, share and erase data.
